Two samples can look similar while having different dimensions, pack counts or wiping behaviour. A useful trial connects a specific sample to a specific task and records the specification that would be ordered.
Record the sample identity first
Keep the SKU or reference, actual size, material, construction, basis weight where supplied, edge finish and packaging information together. A model number alone is not enough to approve a substitute.
Use the intended surface and cleaning liquid
Compare handling, softness, visible residue, absorption and resistance to tearing under the intended task. Keep the same surface, liquid amount and wiping method when comparing samples. Photographs and simple observations help a sourcing conversation; they do not replace laboratory particle, ionic, NVR or ESD testing.
Check the packaging needed for resale
For distributors, confirm sheet count, pack format, neutral labelling, carton quantity and the specification that can be repeated. Request relevant technical information for applications that have defined acceptance requirements.
Vereyan’s sample and trial options
Our classic sample kit contains five sheets in total: one sheet from each of five selected classic models. The sheets are free; freight is quoted separately. Full packs and specified models outside the classic kit carry a sample charge, confirmed before payment.
Trial purchases can start from one pack at trial-order pricing. Orders of ten packs or more can be quoted for quantity pricing. Mixed orders are welcome; the final mix, eligibility, stock and freight are confirmed in the quotation.
Make the repeat order easier
Keep the approved product specification, sample reference and packaging notes in the same conversation. If a specification or source needs to change later, agree on that change before replenishment.
