Searching for cleanroom wipes 9×9 does not tell you everything needed for a like-for-like quote. The actual sheet dimensions, material, edge finish and pack count still matter. This guide helps distributors describe a requirement before comparing suppliers.
Nominal size and actual dimensions are different fields
A supplier may use “9×9” as a familiar catalogue size while listing a different actual centimetre dimension. Do not assume every product called 9×9 is exactly 228.6 × 228.6 mm. Read the actual dimension on the product specification and quotation.
Compare the complete pack specification
| Field | What to ask for |
|---|---|
| Sheet dimensions | Nominal inches and actual millimetres or centimetres |
| Pack count | Sheets per pack, not just packs per carton |
| Material and structure | Fibre composition and knit or nonwoven construction |
| Basis weight | Fabric g/m², not gross package weight |
| Edge finish | The stated cut or sealing method for that SKU |
Which size should you start with?
Start with the surface area, access space and the way the wipe will be folded or held. A larger sheet can suit broader wipe-down tasks; a smaller sheet may be convenient for smaller components. That is a starting point for sampling, not a guarantee of cleanliness or suitability.
Where to compare Vereyan options
Browse our cleanroom wipe series for size-led SKU options. For cellulose-polyester nonwovens, the 0609 page lists actual centimetre dimensions instead of relying on a nominal model name.
Can different sizes be mixed in a trial order?
Mixed requirements are welcome. Share the SKU, size and packs needed. We confirm stock, quantity pricing, packing and freight for the proposed mix before payment.
